COVID-19 Response

In order to follow suggested guidelines set forth by the government agencies in response to the current COVID-19 pandemic, our office has made the following changes to do our best to ensure the safety of our clients and staff while still providing the necessary financial services as we combat these difficult times.  

Our office has resumed back to our regular business hours.  We have discontinued all extended hours as we have reduced our staff to minimize interaction.  Our physical office hours are now...

  • Monday-Thursday: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
  • Friday - 9:00 am - 12:00 pm.
  • Saturday and Sunday: Closed
    • note: our physical office will close as usual from April 16 through the beginning of May.  For more details on this planned closure, please contact us.

We have restricted access to our office lobby.  We ask that you please utilize the mail slot on our side door if you are dropping off any documents.  This slot is only accessible by our staff and is a safe and secure way to drop off physical documents.  We are still encouraging those that can upload documents to us to utilize this service when possible.  There is a link to upload documents at the top of each page on our website. 

We have temporarily suspended all in-person appointments.  We are mailing all completed tax returns upon completion with detailed instructions on where to sign, what to return to us, and how to pay our invoice.  We encourage you to chose our electronic delivery method to simplify and quicken the signing process.  We will not file your return without all necessary signatures and payment of our invoice.

If you still feel like you require our assistance to sign your forms, we are allowing limited scheduled entrance on Tuesday and Thursday only, between the hours of 10:00 am and 2:00 pm.  You must schedule a 15 minute time block in advance with us to allow us time to keep our interactions at a minimum and properly sanitize the area before the next client arrives.  We will not be allowing access to our lobby outside of these times.  

We will gladly provide support to you in your car during our normal business hours.  To receive assistance from the safety of your car, simply call our office at (410) 569-4506 when you arrive and a member from our staff will meet you in our parking lot to help with signatures and payments.

We appreciate your continued support for our family-run practice.  We are trying to continue to provide as much assistance as possible to you, but must do our part to maintain safe environments for all.  Thank you for your understanding as we try to work out the kinks in this new process.

As you may know, the tax filing deadline has been extended until July 15.  This extension applied to filing as well as payment of taxes due. 

We are still encouraging clients to file as timely as possible for a couple of reasons...

  • The IRS is still processing refunds to provide cash for those that may be in need.
  • Filing early will decrease the risk of potential identity theft issues.  The longer that you wait, the higher the chance that someone will file a fraudulent return using your identity.
  • The tax due deadline has been extended.  File now, and simply pay later.
